July 22: Journal Club

This month the Journal Club for Milwaukee-area eating disorders professionals will meet at Rogers Memorial Hospital, 11101 W. Lincoln Ave. West Allis. This meeting is scheduled from 8 to 9 a.m., Wednesday, July 22.

The club will be discussing the potential genetic link between Anorexia and Autism, the subject of an article recently published by Time Magazine. The club will also consider one of the studies mentioned regarding eating disorders and emotional regulation. Amy Harrison from King’s College in London sent the group a complimentary copy of her research publication, Emotion Recognition and Regulation in Anorexia Nervosa.
