Journal Club meets Aug. 26

This month’s Journal Club meeting will be held at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Our meeting is scheduled from 8 to 9 a.m. for Wednesday, Aug. 26.
We will be discussing Longitudinal Examination of Maternal Psychological Control and Adolescents’ Self-Competence as Predictors of Bulimic Symptoms among Boys and Girls. This article was published in the International Journal of Eating Disorders in July of 2009 and considers one particular process wherein a controlling parenting style affects adolescents’ development of bulimic symptoms.

Eating disorders treatment professionals are asked to RSVP by Friday Aug. 21st.
