The Eating Disorders Journal Club will meet on Wednesday, July 28th from 8 to 9 a.m. at Rogers Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee, 11101 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis.

January’s journal club is scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Rogers Memorial Hospital – Milwaukee campus located at 11101 W. Lincoln Ave. in West Allis.

This month’s meeting of our journal club for members of the greater Milwaukee area’s professional eating disorders treatment community will feature discussion of the treatment of eating disorders and diabetes.

The journal club for Milwaukee-area eating disorders treatment professionals will meet at Rogers Memorial Hosptial in Milwaukee from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009.

This month’s Journal Club meeting will be held at Children’s Hospital of Wisconin. Our meeting is scheduled from 8 to 9 a.m. for Wednesday, Aug. 26.

We will be discussing an article about a potential genetic link between Anorexia and Autism recently published by TIME Magazine and one of the studies mentioned regarding ED & emotional regulation on Wednesday, July 22.

This month’s journal club will meet at Children’s Hospital from 8 to 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24.

Our first Journal Club meeting will be a special OPEN HOUSE event at Rogers Memorial Hospital from 7:30am to 9:30am on January 28th.  Rogers Memorial is opening a new, dedicated child and adolescent inpatient eating disorder program in Milwaukee and we will be providing a tour of the new facility after the article discussion.

The Metro-Milwaukee ED Journal Club meets from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Children’s Hospital and Rogers Memorial Hospital – Milwaukee every other month. The group’s goal is to help professionals in the area connect to talk about trends in the field as well as network with each other.
